Doug had mounted the light switch for the bathroom inside the shower;
Right next to the faucets
Even better, it was one of the huge old Frankenstein-type Knife Switches.
Needless to day, Mr. Inspector was on the floor. He'd never seen anything like it. (But he loved practical jokes!) Also needless to say, the
installation failed to pass the inspection, and Doug had to move the 'light-switch' (of a more conventional type) out of the shower and next to the bathroom door....
But it was worth it to play a great joke on the poor inspector, who still laughs
about it...
