Just How Big is 3", Anyway ? |

When we say 3" Transmission Line, we mean Solid Copper Pipe which is really 3-1/8" in diameter. This has a 1" copper 'Inner' conductor. Here's the
line next to a 3-1/4" floppy disc for a size comparison... This line can carry 100,000 watts . ( we need a 100 % safety factor) |
